Co-Development Sprints
For funded teams that need micro-scale devices built fast—with invention-grade problem solving.
- Start with a 1–2 week feasibility sprint—structured DOE, real data, clear go/no-go.
- Keep the recipes, logs, images/HS video, and performance summary.
- If the metric is met, we can propose a tight, milestone-based follow-on—only then.
What you get in 1–2 weeks
- Defined objective + success metric
- DOE matrix + tool recipes (UV/IR where applicable)
- Microscopy and optional high-speed video
- Process logs and parameter sets
- Performance summary: pass/fail vs. metric, next-iteration recommendations
Sprint options
- Laser Process Optimization — explore cut/ablate/pattern space via DOE; output: optimal recipes + evidence.
- Characterization & Video — HS imaging on microscope for motion/deflection/frequency; slowed clips + notes.
- Microscale Lamination — precision stackups; bond quality, alignment, yield vs. parameters.
We tune scope to the smallest sprint that answers your go/no-go question.
How it works
- Intake (30 min): objective, constraints, success metric, materials.
- Sprint (1–2 weeks): DOE → execution → characterization → brief.
- Decision: continue with stock runs, iterate another sprint, or propose a milestone program.
Commercials & IP (typical)
- T&M day-rate + materials; 50% deposit to book.
- You own your device IP; our pre-existing platform/process know-how stays with us.
- Foreground co-developed IP handled case-by-case; standard mutual NDA available.
- Sprints are scheduled so stock services remain the priority.
What to send
- Objective + success metric (one measurable target)
- Any drawings/files; materials/coupons if available
- Timeline and budget range
- NDA needs (if any)
We keep scope tight and bias for speed. If a sprint hits the metric, we can propose a milestone program—only then.
