Precision Laminator (Multi-Layer Stack Assembly)

Controls temperature, pressure, and nip speed to deliver stable, repeatable multi-layer stacks—clean edges, precise thickness, and high bond strength for films, foils, adhesives, and composites.

Prep → Align → Laminate → Cool → Inspect → Document

What this enables

  • Consistent bonds with high peel/shear strength

  • Registration-accurate stacks (aligned features across layers)

  • Thickness control and clean, uniform edges (minimal squeeze-out)

  • Void/bubble mitigation with proper heat/pressure profiles

  • Traceable runs (parameters + results logged for QA)

Hardware highlights

  • Closed-loop temperature control with uniform heating zones

  • Programmable nip pressure and line speed/dwell

  • Registration workflows (pins/fixtures/fiducials) for micro-features

  • Compatible with PSA, thermoplastic, B-staged epoxy, ACF/ACF-like films

  • Cooling/conditioning options to lock dimensional stability

Precision Roll Laminator

Workflow & Deliverables

  • Material prep (clean, dry, condition; liner strategy)

  • Alignment & fixturing for multi-layer registration

  • Profile selection (T/P/speed/dwell) and trial coupons

  • Run & cool (controlled exit and flattening)

  • Inspect & document (thickness, edges, voids, peel/shear)

  • Deliverables: photos/micrographs, thickness/strength tables, and a parameter recipe for reuse

Lamination Case: PI Film + Adhesive on Thin Foil

Objective: achieve high bond strength, uniform thickness, and clean edges for a polyimide–adhesive–foil stack. We swept temperature and line speed at fixed pressure, inspected for voids/squeeze-out, and measured peel (N/25 mm), thickness uniformity, and alignment error.
